YA-hoo!

The very first official meeting of the newest section of the Kansas Library Association occurred on Thursday, April 6th, 2006. Eight intrepid librarians met at 7:30 am to have elections, approve bylaws and start making plans for next year.

Officers for the next two years will be:

Co-Chairs: Kim Patton and Erin Howerton

Vice-Chair-Elects: Richard Brookman and Angela Parks

Treasurer: Susie Whitaker

Reporter: Venus Rowland

To join this exciting new group, you'll need to write-in the name Kansas Young Adult Librarians (KYAL) on the KLA membership form until they are able to print new forms...a one-year membership to KYAL is ONLY 5 bucks.
